During my five years at the Government Law College, Mumbai, I’ve had the opportunity to work in the capacity of an intern and paralegal at various chambers.  The assignments involved preparing synopsis, case law notes and attending conferences with the solicitors and clients as well as conducting research on matters pertaining to Code of Criminal Procedure, Testamentary laws, Negotiable Instruments Act, Indian Penal Code, Civil Procedure Code, Corporate laws, Arbitration laws, Property and Tenancy laws.  Observed proceedings before the District Courts, Small Causes Court and High Courts at Bombay and Delhi as well the Company Law Board and Securities Appellate Tribunal at Mumbai.

Indian and Chinese approaches pertaining to water related matters with neighboring states are a study in contrast. While Indian state behavior has been in line with a more treaty-based approach, the Chinese tend to be more unilateral.

    Participated as a Speaker in the ‘Knock-Out’2014 an annual Panel Discussion organised by the Magazine Committee of the Government Law College, Mumbai, moderated by the Advocate-General of Maharashtra Mr. Darius Khambatta. Topic: Parley on Article 370: The disputed provision giving special status to Jammu and Kashmir. The iron clad autonomy of the state should be dissolved by revoking Article 370.  Participated as a Speaker in the 15th D.M. Harish Memorial International Moot Court Competition 2014, Quarterfinalist. Subject: Act of Aggression, General Breach of International Law, Breach of International Humanitarian and Investment Law, and Violation of International Environmental Norms.  Best Speaker (Winner) of the International Law Grand Moot Court Competition 2013- 2014, organised by the Government Law College, Mumbai. Subject: Inviolability of the Diplomatic Mission, Acts of Aggression and Breach of Principles of International Law.  Participated as a Speaker in the 12th Raj Anand Memorial IPR National Moot Court Competition 2011. Position Secured: 2 nd Best Team(Runners up). Subject: Intellectual Property Rights (misappropriation of trade secrets/confidential information), Contracts and Torts.  Participated in 1st NLIU Bhopal National Mediation Competition 2012. Position secured: 3 rd Best Attorney-Client Pair
