OMKAR BHOLE

Omkar Bhole has completed graduation in History and he is currently pursuing Masters's in China studies from Somaiya Vidyavihar University, Mumbai. Omkar has been learning the Mandarin language for the past 4 years and completed HSK 4. He is a keen observer of China’s domestic as well as global activities. He has also done some Mandarin translation assignments in the past. Omkar's interests lie in China's foreign policy, domestic politics, economic transformation, military modernization, and China's environmental policies. In future, Omkar aims to contribute towards better understanding of China by conducting academic research on China studies in India. Omkar has also presented a paper titled – ‘Motivations behind Japan’s security conundrum in Taiwan’ at the 1st All India Conference on East Asia Studies (AICEAS) in March 2022.
