G. Shandeepan was a Research Intern at the Institute of Chinese Studies from June 2013 to August 2013. His areas of interest are strategic and defence studies of East Asia; secession conflict in Sri Lanka, Philippine and Myanmar; post-conflict reconstruction and state practices.
